RN Emergency Quality Specialist - Emergency Care Center

Job Summary The Emergency Quality Specialist creates, manages and evaluates education/training programs and services, develops related goals and objectives, recommends policies, and evaluates program outcomes. All educational offerings provided by the Emergency Quality Specialist should primarily be based on the Cognitive, Humanist, and/or Brain-Based Learning Theories. The role of the Emergency Quality Specialist may include, direct patient/family care, consultation, change agent, teaching/coaching/mentoring, research, patient advocacy, performance improvement, and leadership & professional development. Requirements Bachelor's Degree required (Master's Degree preferred) Active & Clear Georgia nursing license or compact license 5 years of Emergency Nursing/Trauma Nursing experience American Heart Association (ACLS, BLS, & PALS) certification Nursing Professional Development certification (NPD-PC) preferred TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course) preferred Core Competencies These competencies reflect the values and behaviors expected of all Grady team members, regardless of role.
