Experience: • 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months. • 24 months of Endoscopy experience. • High School completion required. Requirements: • Candidates must have a license (required for submission). • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted. • No current placement allowed at Program: Medefis Program - Valley View Hospital. Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: - Advanced case Endo experience is required. Preferred Credentials: - Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA) Associates Program and/or Advanced Associates Program preferred. Special Requests: - Permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility. Unit Details: - Assists nursing staff and physician during procedures, including polypectomy, biopsies, screening exams, ERCP, and dilations. - Disinfects and processes endoscopic equipment and assists with equipment troubleshooting. - Sets up procedure rooms, transports patients as needed, stocks rooms with supplies and equipment, assists patients with dressing and ambulation, and applies EKG monitors, BP cuff, and pulse oximetry prior to the start of the case. - Uses Meditech.
