Sabio Systems is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant on behalf of our client, a reputable construction company. In this role, you will manage day-to-day financial operations, ensure accurate job costing, and maintain tight control over accounts payable and receivables.

Job Responsibilities for the Accountant:

• Manage day-to-day financial operations and transactions.
• Ensure accurate job costing and project financial tracking.
• Maintain tight control over Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Process and manage employee payroll.
• Support month-end closing processes and prepare adjusting journal entries.
• Assist in the preparation of accurate financial statements.

Qualifications for the Accountant:

• Strong understanding of construction accounting practices and theories.
• Proficiency with standard accounting software platforms.
• High attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work reliably in an in-person office environment.
• Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Associates or Bachelors degree in accounting preferred.

Compensation for the Accountant:

• $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
