How the Psychologist Will Support the Community Conduct comprehensive autism assessments for children currently facing long waitlists. Utilize standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews to evaluate developmental, cognitive, and behavioral aspects. Provide clear and concise assessment reports, including diagnostic impressions and recommendations. Offer guidance and support to families throughout the assessment process. Stay current with best practices and advancements in autism assessment and intervention. Support Nebraska communities through assessments 2‑4 days per month. What You Will Bring Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) with a focus on child psychology or related field OR Pediatric Psychiatrist. Nebraska licensure. Experience in conducting autism assessments and familiarity with standardized assessment tools (e.g., ADOS‑2, ADI‑R). Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with children, families, and a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to supporting underserved communities and reducing healthcare disparities.
