Expected Schedule
This is a full-time role .
Some holidays will be mandatory .
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Compensation
- Hourly wage of $25-$34 , based on experience and licensure
Your Responsibilities
As a Licensed Veterinary Technician in our Ophthalmology department, you will collaborate closely with specialists and clinicians from various departments to provide precise, high-quality care.
In this position, you will:
- Carefully prepare, calculate, and administer medications , ensuring patient safety
- Utilize and maintain all monitoring equipment and troubleshoot as necessary
- Conduct daily and weekly maintenance on anesthesia and imaging devices
- Coordinate daily procedures across all departments
- Adhere to standards regarding safety, infection control, and OSHA regulations
- Act as a patient advocate , keeping accurate treatment and anesthesia records
- LVT/CVT/RVT licensure in good standing or an experienced assistant
- Capability to lift 35-45 lbs and assist with larger patients
- Excellent organizational, teamwork, and time-management abilities
- A positive demeanor and dedication to enhancing the lives of pets
