Certified Respiratory Therapist

Role Overview Responsible for providing cardiopulmonary care under physician supervision, utilizing principles, techniques, and theories of respiratory medicine. Key Responsibilities Performing all respiratory care procedures and modalities, including Critical Care and Blood Gas analysis. Utilizing computerized equipment and patient care applications effectively. Collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver quality patient care. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an approved AMA Respiratory Therapy program. Current licensure (LRCP) from the applicable State. Knowledge of respiratory procedures, Critical Care, and Blood Gas analysis. Eligibility or certification for the NBRC CRT exam and CPR certification from the American Heart Association. Ability to work with healthcare computer systems. Preferred: Additional education, hospital experience, NRP, PALS, ACLS certifications, and advanced computer skills.
