CVICU Registered Nurse

Located between Denver and Grand Junction on the I-70 Corridor

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shift (1900 - 0730) including weekend rotation; must agree to be in the call rotation and take 1 call shift per 2-week period as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced CVICU Registered Nurses who are also willing to cover CCU responsibilities. Applicants must have Day 0 CVICU experience to support our healthcare team in creating a positive impact in the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care for CVICU patients with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.
• Monitor patient status and execute appropriate interventions.
• Assist in procedures and use of equipment in the Cath Labs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Strong CVICU skills with Day 0 CVICU experience.
• Current Colorado RN license in good standing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• A minimum of 3 years of RN Critical Care experience.
• Flu vaccination is mandatory (no declinations accepted) for the period of October 1st through April 1st.
