Position Overview
The Technical Data Analyst will support enterprise data quality, migration, reporting, and integration initiatives. This role is responsible for profiling, cleansing, validating, transforming, and reconciling large datasets, while developing dashboards, reports, and integration solutions that improve data accuracy and support business decision-making. The ideal candidate combines strong SQL and data analysis skills with experience in data migration, quality management, APIs, and reporting platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Data Quality & Data Management

• Perform data profiling to assess completeness, accuracy, consistency, validity, and uniqueness of enterprise data.
• Identify and remediate data quality issues including duplicates, incomplete records, and data inconsistencies.
• Execute data cleansing, transformation, standardization, validation, and reconciliation activities.
• Develop and maintain data quality scorecards, validation reports, and reconciliation reports.
• Support enterprise data governance and data lifecycle management initiatives.

Data Migration & Conversion

• Create and maintain data mapping documents, conversion templates, and migration artifacts.
• Support large-scale data migration initiatives from source to target systems.
• Develop automated validation routines to compare source and target datasets.
• Analyze migration results and identify exceptions and data discrepancies.
• Ensure data integrity throughout the migration lifecycle.

Reporting & Analytics

• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI.
• Create KPIs and metrics to monitor data quality, migration readiness, and operational performance.
• Develop executive dashboards and technical reporting solutions.
• Analyze trends and provide actionable insights to business and technical stakeholders.

Data Integration & API Support

• Support API-led integrations utilizing MuleSoft and enterprise integration frameworks.
• Assist with REST API testing, validation, troubleshooting, and data exchange activities.
• Work with JSON, XML, and API payloads for system integrations.
• Support cloud application integrations, including Salesforce and other enterprise platforms.

Automation & Technical Development

• Develop SQL queries, scripts, and automation processes to support data validation and reconciliation.
• Utilize Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages for process automation.
• Support ETL, data conversion, and transformation activities.
• Improve efficiency through automation of repetitive data quality processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data quality, or data management.
• Strong understanding of data governance and data lifecycle management practices.

• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, XML, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience supporting API testing and troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Salesforce implementations, migrations, or data quality initiatives.
• Experience with ETL and enterprise data migration projects.
• Experience with data quality tools such as:
