About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring accurate transactions at the point of sale. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to handle cash and credit card transactions with 

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a customer service or cash handling role
• Ability to lift and carry heavy weight up to 50 pounds
• Proficient in basic math skills
• Excellent phone etiquette

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with point of sale systems
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service
• Operate cash register and accurately process transactions
• Must be able to work in inclement weather.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Assist with janitorial duties as needed
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Skills:

As a Cashier, you will utilize your strong customer service skills to provide exceptional service to our customers. You will also use your attention to detail and math skills to accurately process transactions and handle cash and credit card payments. Additionally, you will use your flexibility and adaptability to work a variety of shifts and handle a range of responsibilities, including janitorial duties and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. Your ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members will be essential to your success in this role.
