Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute Rehab Unit. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to patients recovering from various conditions, including strokes, traumatic injuries, and surgeries.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Acute Rehab Unit.
Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding rehabilitation protocols.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care.
Float to other inpatient units as needed, providing support to various departments.

Schedule

This position is available for day shifts, offering flexible scheduling options of 3 or 4 twelve-hour shifts. Weekend and holiday rotations are part of the responsibilities. Candidates must be prepared to float to other inpatient units as needed.

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or a Compact license.
Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience in a rehabilitation or similar setting.
Experience with travel nursing is preferred.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
