Our Home Health Physical Therapy Assistants enjoy some excellent benefits: Competitive weekly pay with travel time and mileage reimbursement Holiday pay and Paid Time Off for full-time employees Medical and life insurance for full-time employees Dental, vision, and supplemental insurance available for all employees One-on-one patient care that allows you to make a meaningful impact Flexible scheduling designed to support work-life balance Supportive management team dedicated to your success Continuing education benefits and discounted tuition through Colorado Christian University and Rasmussen As a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant, here's a big-picture view of what you’ll do: Provide home-based physical therapy to patients who have lost mobility, strength, and functionality due to illness or injury Work as part of a home health team, which may include an RN, LPN, CNA, HHA, OT, and SLP, focused on the patient’s plan of care and goals Act at the direction and under the supervision of the treating Physical Therapist and in accordance with the plan of care Assist the treating Physical Therapist in documenting exercises in the patient’s chart and printing out exercises for home use as directed Participate in educating the patient and the family with exercises under the direct supervision of the treating Physical Therapist, and other caregivers A few must-haves for Home Health Physical Therapist Assistants: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program and active PTA license in Arizona Minimum of one (1) year of physical therapy assistant experience, preferably in a home healthcare setting CPR Certification (demonstration course required) Valid Arizona Fingerprint Card Pass a background check and drug test (we are required to test for THC) Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations Good clinical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, dexterity, and compassion Why Work for Interim HealthCare?
