The Little School House Inc. is hiring fully qualified teachers to join our team and our growing school. We are looking to hire a team player who is enthusiastic about teaching young children. Must have ECE units, teaching experience, a background clearance, and a health screening.
We are open from 7:30 am - 5:30 pm Monday - Friday, full-time; hours are negotiable.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, responsive, and loving care to infants and toddlers.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, cognitive, language, and social-emotional development.
- Follow individual feeding, sleeping, diapering, and care routines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
- Observe and document children’s development, milestones, interests, and individual needs.
- Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and families regarding their child’s daily activities, development, and well-being.
- Support children in developing independence, self-help skills, communication, and positive social behaviors.
- Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and licensing requirements.
Qualifications
- Must have ECE units, including infant/toddler units
- Previous experience working with infants and toddlers preferred.
- Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain certification.
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and coworkers.
- Patient, dependable, nurturing, and professional.
- Ability to lift and carry young children and perform the physical duties required in an early childhood classroom.
The Little School House offers a parent-teacher interactive based care system for the infant and toddler option rooms. Our program caters to your individual child's needs and ensures they receive the quality care that helps them thrive. The classroom environment is designed to create a feeling of comfort while providing opportunities for stimulation, feeding, and rest.
