Step into a rewarding contract opportunity making a meaningful impact across multiple PK-12 schools as part of a supportive educational environment. This part-time position (29 hours per week) begins with a couple of professional development days starting July 27th, 2026, and continues through May 24th, 2027. You’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team to support students’ academic and emotional growth at several sites, with flexibility for some hybrid work.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to identify student needs and draft thorough, timely reports.
• Provide consultation for parents, staff, and administrators, sharing expertise on assessment, interventions, and special education eligibility criteria.
• Collaborate in planning and developing individualized programs in partnership with school teams.
• Clearly communicate assessment data and recommendations to diverse audiences.
• Maintain accurate, organized documentation and case records in compliance with legal and district requirements.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development with colleagues and families.
• Ensure all assessments and interventions align with IDEA regulations and best practices.
• Engage and coordinate with other specialists, including diagnosticians, social workers, and speech-language pathologists.

Qualifications:

• Active Louisiana DOE certification in School Psychology.
• Experience with psychoeducational testing, data interpretation, and special education regulations (IDEA).
• Proficiency in writing comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to effectively collaborate and adhere to deadlines.
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and program accountability.
• Successful completion of district background check and credentialing requirements.
