Sylvania Health Care Center is now under new management, and exciting changes are underway! We are building a team of compassionate, dependable professionals who take pride in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents.
We are currently seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our growing team.
Our housekeeping team plays an essential role in the daily experience of our residents. We’re looking for someone who understands that a clean facility is about more than appearances—it’s about safety, dignity, comfort, and making our residents feel at home.
What You'll Do:Maintain clean and sanitary resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other assigned areas
Perform routine cleaning, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting
Clean and sanitize bathrooms and high-touch surfaces
Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation standards
Properly handle cleaning supplies, equipment, and waste
Respond promptly to housekeeping needs throughout the facility
Work collaboratively with nursing and other departments to maintain a welcoming environment
Treat every resident with kindness, dignity, and respect
Dependable and hardworking
Strong attention to detail
Positive, team-oriented attitude
Compassion and respect for our senior population
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Previous housekeeping or healthcare experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person!
