Radiation Oncology Therapist

Delivers appropriate radiation per treatment planning and collaborates with other healthcare staff ensuring a positive patient experience. Records and verifies radiation treatment. Assures radiation protection and safety standards. Assumes responsibility for the proper use of assigned equipment and applies troubleshooting skills and takes appropriate action as necessary. CERTIFICATION/LICENSE: American Reg of Rad Techs (ARRT) ADDITIONAL LICENSURE/CREDENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Graduate of an accredited program in Radiation Therapy. ARRT Registered Technologist Radiation Therapist license in the state of Indiana in good standing. ADDITIONAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS : Mandatory Continuing Education: Customer Service, Fire and Safety, Corporate Compliance (including Confidentiality), Infection Control, and education required by regulatory, accreditation bodies, scope of practice, and/or Hancock Regional Hospital.
