Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to join our team. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing critical care to patients in need.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients in emergency situations.
- Provide direct patient care, administer medications, and monitor vital signs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and health management.
Qualifications
- Current nursing license and registration as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification.
- Must have a permanent address more than 50 miles from the facility.
Work Schedule
This position is for night shifts, from 7 PM to 7 AM. Flexibility may be required based on unit needs.
Duration
The expected duration of this assignment is 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension based on performance and unit needs.
