Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

$1836.00/week -

Job Summary:

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced ED environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver efficient and effective trauma and acute care services. Maintain clinical excellence and adhere to established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on acuity and medical needs.
  
  
• 
  Administer emergency treatments, medication, and interventions following protocol.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care accurately in the MEDITECH EHR system.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and support staff to coordinate patient management.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and implement emergency procedures as needed.
  
  
• 
  Follow infection control, safety standards, and unit policies to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid RN license with active certification in Texas.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 1 year recent ER or trauma nursing experience.
  
  
• 
  Current ACLS, BLS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications required.
  
  
• 
  Proficient in trauma and inpatient care procedures, including central lines and airway management.
  
  
• 
  Experience with MEDITECH electronic health records preferred.
  
  
• 
  Ability to multitask, function under pressure, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
