Overview Description Thrive Pet Healthcare offers Veterinary Specialty Residencies - spend 3-4 years training in a specific specialty discipline. Thrive offers the following Residencies to begin July 2026. Thrive Hospital-based Opportunities Dental & Oral Surgery (SA) – Arizona Veterinary Dental Specialists Dental & Oral Surgery (Equine) – Midwest Veterinary Dental Services Dermatology - Michigan Emergency & Critical Care - ACCESS Animal Hospitals, Culver City Neurology – Veterinary Specialty Center of Seattle Oncology - Veterinary Cancer Group, Tustin, CA Ophthalmology – Eye Care for Animals, locations TBD Radiology - VitalRADS Surgery (SA) – Veterinary Specialty Center of Seattle Thrive+University Partnership Opportunities (see below) Thrive-University Partnership Opportunities Each year, Thrive Pet Healthcare partners with our University Hospital colleagues to offer additional veterinary residencies. The university locations and specialties vary each year. For a July 2026 start, we offer training in Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology and Surgery. During the residency, the doctor enjoys the same experience and benefits as their peers, with some extra professional support. Following residency, the specialist works at a Thrive location the number of years equal to the length of her/his/their residency, and enjoys the benefits and community of our Thrive network. SA Surgery opportunities supported by Thrive will be at the following universities - UGA, Missouri, and Wisconsin - and available through the VIRMP.
