Key Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician direction
• Provide outpatient physical therapy services with 60-minute evaluations and 45-minute treatment sessions
• Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
• Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring functional treatment programs support effective return to community activities
• Participate in student programs as assigned, providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
• Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and regulatory requirements while actively pursuing continuing education and professional development

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist licensure in good standing in the state of Maryland
• Compliance with all state-mandated continuing education requirements
• Ability to complete thorough patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans
• Knowledge of and adherence to discipline-specific professional codes of conduct and ethical standards
• Proficiency in medical record documentation in accordance with state, federal, and payer guidelines

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
• Experience supervising or mentoring physical therapy students
• Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality initiatives
