Clinical Nursing Adjunct – Fall 2026 Germanna Community College invites applications for part‑time adjunct faculty positions in clinical nursing for the following areas: CNA LPN RN Location Orange - 137, Virginia. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance or be willing to relocate. Key Responsibilities Teach specific classes in the designated discipline. Develop course syllabi and instructional materials. Maintain records, assign grades, and assess student progress. Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations of GCC and the VCCS. Maintain current competence in the discipline or field of specialization. Essential Functions The College expects each faculty member to meet assigned classes regularly, submit required records and reports routinely, teach the prescribed courses of study with the established texts, and adhere to the statement on professional ethics in accordance with College policies, procedures, and regulations. Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) for all positions (CNA and LPN). Official transcripts required prior to final offer. Completion of Growing with Canvas and TOPS 2.2 prior to teaching. Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) – especially for the RN program. Prior teaching and work experience in the field. Experience with online teaching and willingness to learn artificial intelligence tools. Additional Assignments MAY BE REQUIRED to perform other duties as assigned or assist the agency or state government in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
