Job Summary: This will require onsite in Englewood Cliffs, NJ at client location.
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer with a strong focus on Magento Development to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5 7 years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of delivering high quality eCommerce solutions using Magento. This role requires a deep understanding of Magento architecture, customization, and best practices to enhance our online platform and improve user experience.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain eCommerce applications using Magento.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Implement and manage Magento extensions and third party integrations.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Debug and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Magento and eCommerce.
Document development processes, code changes, and technical specifications.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong expertise in Magento Development (Magento 2 preferred).
Proficient in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with Magento theming and module development.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Solid understanding of eCommerce best practices and user experience design.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with other eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce).
Knowledge of front end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).
Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5 7 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on Magento.
Proven ability to deliver high quality software solutions on time.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
