Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Weekend shifts required based on staffing needs
• No on-call requirements
• Rotating weekend schedule
• Schedule varies as travelers are placed based on greatest staffing needs
• Work across all floors and areas within the hospital
• Patient ratio of 36 UOS
• Utilize equipment including V60, Hamilton C1, PB40, PB980, Metaneb, EPOC ABG system, Nitric, and AIRVO
• Document using Meditech EMR system
• ICU experience required
• CVICU experience and Nitric experience preferred
• Perform procedures including ABG, ventilator management, Nitric management, bronchoscopy, intubation assistance, nebulizer treatments, and high flow nasal cannula (HFNC)
• Required certifications: CRT or RRT, ACLS, and BLS
• Dress code: Black scrubs required

This facility is a large hospital with 368 beds and a dedicated respiratory therapy department located on the third floor of Tower A. The respiratory therapy team consists of 34 staff members who provide coverage across all areas of the hospital. The facility is equipped with advanced respiratory care technology and utilizes a modern electronic medical records system to support comprehensive patient care.
