Description: The unit has 5 scanners/rooms. Floating or covering other areas is not required. Common types of imaging performed include X-Rays and OR (C-arm) fluoroscopy. The average number of scans/studies performed per day is 400. The department uses Epic for their EMR and Fuji Synapse for PACS. Department-specific equipment includes Toshiba Rad Rooms, Carestream portables, and OEC C-arms. Radiology supervisor or lead technician is available on-site. There are no Registered Radiology Assistants employed in the department. A radiologist is available in-house 24/7. IV starts are not required for this position. Weekend and holiday work is required. There is no call or standby requirement. Scrubs are provided, and a specific dress code applies. Department-specific orientation is available. This role involves working in an acute care setting.
