Occupational Therapist Position

Qualifications and Experience:
- Possess a valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of Maryland
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience is highly preferred
- Comfortable working with diverse populations across K-12 grade levels
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Effective communicator with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services as outlined in students' IEPs
- Screen, assess, and document students' functional strengths and needs
- Develop targeted intervention strategies to enhance students' participation and independence in school activities
- Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting for each student on your caseload
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all federal, state, and district regulations
