Product Manager

Salary: $121,000 - 161,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for a bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.
• We value experience in product management, product lifecycle management, or go-to-market roles, ideally within data, analytics, or SaaS environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
• We need someone who can turn customer and market insight into practical product outcomes.
• Familiarity with property catastrophe risk, P&C insurance, reinsurance, excess and surplus markets, and broker ecosystems is strongly preferred.
• We are seeking someone who is comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-moving environment with multiple stakeholders.

• We contribute to defining the multi-year product vision and roadmap by using internal and external inputs such as customer feedback, sales insights, market analysis, and competitive intelligence.
• We help prioritize roadmap initiatives to support revenue growth, profitability, and strategic relevance.
• We identify emerging market and industry trends and turn them into clear, commercially viable product requirements and enhancement opportunities.
• We support the development and launch of new products, features, and capabilities, while continuously improving our existing offerings.
• We maintain awareness of Maplecrofts product offering and roadmap to spot potential alignment and synergy opportunities between PCS and Maplecroft client bases.
• We act as a product subject matter expert with current and prospective customers, supporting sales and relationship management efforts.
• We develop and deliver customer presentations, demos, proofs of concept, and product collateral that clearly communicate value and use cases.
• We gather and synthesize client feedback to uncover unmet needs, adoption barriers, and differentiation opportunities.
• We support pricing, packaging, bundling, and product enhancement strategies in collaboration with our Commercial Strategy team and PCS leadership.
• We assist with proposal responses, contracting inputs, and commercial discussions where product expertise is needed.
• We equip sales teams with product messaging, positioning, and materials that support customer acquisition and upsell.
• We work closely with technology and data teams to translate product priorities into actionable requirements and deliverables.
• We partner with marketing on go-to-market planning, positioning, and product launches.
• We track product performance and adoption metrics and use the insights to drive iterative improvements.
• We apply project and program management capabilities to help execute cross-functional work.
• We expect some travel for customer meetings, conferences, and internal collaboration.
