School Psychologist

Key Qualifications: Masters degree in School Psychology or a related field Valid and current New Mexico school psychologist license Previous experience working with students at the elementary, middle, and/or high school levels Sound knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and compliance with state and federal educational regulations Strong collaboration skills with the ability to partner with teachers, administrators, and parents Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities Primary Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments for students requiring special support Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education and intervention plans Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation services as needed Assist with the development of programs and strategies to address learning, behavioral, and emotional challenges Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to help create a positive and inclusive school environment Support educators and families through training and resources about student mental health and well-being Maintain accurate records and ensure timely reporting in accordance with district and state policies In this role, you will have the opportunity to directly shape positive student outcomes and create supportive educational experiences.
