Direct Support Professional - 11pm-7am Shift

Overview Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is looking for a Direct Support Professional to work part‑time or split shift (11pm‑7am) at the Pocono Center in Newfoundland, PA. Responsibilities Provide safe and appropriate care for all Pocono Center residents. Supervise residents and ensure their physical, emotional and personal needs are met. Assist with hygiene tasks such as showering or toileting. Support individuals throughout daily routines, including community outings. Attend in‑service training programs to develop skills. Perform related duties, special assignments and projects as assigned by coordinator. Pay and Benefits Pay rates: Starting $18.00‑$20.52/hr depending on education/experience, On‑Call $21.50/hr. Additional benefits include: Exchange 40 hours of Time Off for an additional $0.38/hr, or 80 hours for $0.77/hr. Evening shift differential $0.30/hr and overnight shift differential $0.50/hr. Additional $0.29/hr for active CNAs. Earn an extra $1.00/hr for active NADSP Level 1 certification. PayActiv wage access. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Valid Driver’s License required. One year of human service experience working with children, adolescents, or adults preferred. Strong communication skills, empathy, team player, energetic, creative, and passionate about helping individuals with special needs. Physical Requirements Significant amounts of walking, sitting, and standing; lifting up to 50 lbs.; repetitive wrist/hand movements; normal hearing and vision; occasional computer use. Work Environment Work inside adequately lit and ventilated areas; use of protective equipment such as gloves and masks; possible exposure to blood‑borne pathogens.
