Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $14 - $18 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Production Operator:

• Operator will operate the Take-Up machine in a Cable Manufacturing facility.

• Properly set-up the Take-Up machine independently and monitor the product consistently, as it is being spooled onto the reel.

• Must have good mechanical skills with the ability to handle and move heavy reels and products to designated areas.

• Properly maintain a consistent log of production and quality, per Gulf Cable systems.

• Properly repair any discrepancies within the line while spooling onto the reel.

• Ensure all safety procedures and rules including safe material handling are followed.

• Must immediately report quality issues to the Supervisor, Department Manager or Lead.

• Properly load and unload finished goods in designated areas.

• Assist with any other job duties that are assigned

Available shifts:

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day), 3rd Shift (Night), Weekends

Job requirements:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time

• Background check and drug test required
