Customer Experience Specialist

The Customer Experience Specialist, known as a "Deck Ambassador" works poolside at our swim school. This position plays a critical role in providing an excellent customer experience.

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Setting up and breaking down the pool deck area before and after each shift.
  • Checking water chemistry and temperature prior to swim lessons.
  • Welcoming students and parents/guardians to the pool deck area.
  • Answering customers' questions about their account, their child's progress, or about the program.
  • Assisting swim instructors and managers when needed during swim lessons.
  • Posting media content and monitoring social media platforms.
  • Reporting to Business Owner, assisting with other business needs.
  • Working a schedule that typically includes Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (3:00 - 8:00pm) and Saturday (9:00am - 2:00pm).

Minimum qualifications include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Enthusiastic personality - enjoy interacting with customers (parents and children)
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
  • Customer service skills: 1 year
  • Have a responsible and professional demeanor
  • Must complete all required British Swim School specific training and testing

Additional qualifications:

  • Swimming experience: 1-2 years beneficial but not required.
  • Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED Certification(s) beneficial (can also be obtained during training)

Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
