Job Description Urgent Hiring: Salesforce Application Developer (Hybrid) Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid – Onsite & Remote) Position Type: Contract Client: State Government Agency Eligibility: U.S. Citizens Only (No Visa Candidates Eligible) Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Application Developer with strong hands‑on Salesforce development experience to support the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of mission‑critical applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Salesforce development, MuleSoft integrations, API development, and relational databases, along with experience leading Salesforce implementations. This role requires a developer who can analyze existing systems, optimize solutions, and collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver high‑quality applications that support agency operations and strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, implement, and maintain applications across multiple platforms, including Salesforce, MuleSoft, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server. Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions. Perform detailed code analysis, troubleshooting, reverse engineering, and enhancement of existing applications. Participate in the planning, design, development, testing, and deployment of new applications and system enhancements. Develop and maintain APIs and integrations to support business processes and data exchange. Ensure applications comply with agency standards, policies, regulations, and technology directives. Create and maintain technical documentation, application specifications, and development standards. Support application development and testing environments. Identify opportunities to refactor, redesign, and optimize existing systems and processes. Work closely with cross‑functional teams to implement business and technology solutions. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field OR 7+ years of professional software development experience. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Lead Developer on one or more Salesforce implementations. Experience designing and developing Salesforce applications and custom solutions. Experience working with Agile methodologies and source control/version management tools. Experience developing and consuming APIs. Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
