Position Title: Medical Assistant - Primary Care

Location: Needham, MA

Job Type: Contract 13weeks, (40 hours/week)

Shift: Day Shift, Monday - Friday


Overview:
Seeking a certified Medical Assistant for a busy Primary Care practice in Waltham, MA. The MA will provide both administrative support and clinical assistance, including patient rooming, taking vitals, performing EKGs, processing prior authorizations, and educating patients.


Key Responsibilities:

• Support internal medicine providers by rooming patients, recording vitals, and performing EKGs.
• Handle prior authorizations and patient education.
• Manage both clinical and administrative duties to ensure smooth practice operations.

Qualifications:

• Current Medical Assistant Certification.
• BLS certification.
• COVID vaccines, booster, and 2024-2025 flu vaccine required.
• Must be local to Waltham, MA (within 25 miles) and not have worked at any Beth Israel facility in the past year.
