Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk / Accounts Payable Specialist to support our accounting department in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong accounts payable experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
Schedule:Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Job Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile vendor invoices.
- Enter invoices into the Syteline accounting system.
- Prepare weekly check runs and process ACH and wire payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and company credit card transactions.
- Monitor the Accounts Payable email inbox.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding invoice discrepancies and payment inquiries.
- Assist with month-end closing activities and audits.
- Maintain accurate Accounts Payable records and documentation.
- Provide backup support for Accounts Receivable as needed.
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of high-volume, full-cycle Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Manufacturing accounting experience is a plus.
- Experience with Syteline ERP is preferred.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
