Part-Time Neonatal Clinician-Educator

The University of Southern California (USC) and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) are seeking a part‑time faculty member for the position of Clinical Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics or Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics (Clinician Educator) within the Division of Neonatology’s Fetal and Neonatal Institute. Responsibilities Provide clinical service in the 58‑bed, level IV Newborn and Infant Critical Care Unit and in one of four community‑based NICUs. Contribute to pediatric resident and neonatal‑perinatal fellow education. Qualifications Must hold an MD or DO degree. Board certified in Pediatrics. Board certified or eligible in Neonatal‑Perinatal Medicine. Desirable qualifications Clinical experience in neonatal medicine. Strong teaching skills. Experience in patient‑oriented, educational, QI/PI, or outcome research. Strong oral and written communication/interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a complex, high‑intensity academic environment.
