Pay: $170,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year

Location: This position is based in San Francisco, CA, with flexibility for remote work. Candidates should be located in the Bay Area and available to work in the office regularly as needed.

Note: Candidates must be admitted to the California Bar and have litigation experience. Trial experience is strongly preferred. This role focuses on business disputes, owner disputes, and real estate litigation, not personal injury.

Job Description

• Handle business litigation matters involving commercial disputes, owner disputes, real estate disputes, and closely held business issues.
• Manage cases from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, negotiations, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Work directly with clients to understand business objectives and provide practical, strategic legal guidance.
• Draft and argue motions, prepare witnesses, manage depositions, and develop litigation strategy.
• Collaborate with attorneys across the firm’s litigation and business practice areas.
• Support matters involving corporate, real estate, partnership, shareholder, founder, investor, and business ownership disputes.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement discussions.
• Contribute to a client-focused culture built around practical business solutions and high-quality legal work.

Qualifications

• California Bar admission required.
• 4+ years of litigation experience preferred.
• Business litigation, commercial litigation, real estate litigation, or owner/shareholder dispute experience strongly preferred.
• Trial experience preferred.
• Strong legal writing, research, motion practice, and case management skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with business clients, entrepreneurs, investors, and private company stakeholders.
• Must be located in the Bay Area or able to work regularly from the San Francisco office.
• Personal injury experience alone is not a fit for this role.
