Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Fast Food Store Manager for a direct hire opportunity in North Hills, CA. This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing one of the larger, high-volume restaurant locations with approximately 45 employees, indoor dining, and drive-thru operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead daily restaurant operations for a high-volume fast food location, including staffing, service quality, food safety, guest satisfaction, and operational standards.
- Recruit, interview, hire, train, coach, and manage crew members, leads, and assistant managers to ensure strong team performance and proper coverage.
- Manage labor costs, scheduling, meal and rest break compliance, timekeeping, inventory, food orders, supply orders, invoices, and daily revenue reconciliation.
- Oversee cash management, register audits, safe audits, bank deposits, point-of-sale system updates, and restaurant reporting.
- Drive sales and profitability by controlling food, beverage, supply, and labor costs while resolving guest concerns quickly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, food handling standards, labor laws, equipment maintenance requirements, and security procedures.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $28 to $30 per hour, depending on experience.
- Job Type: Direct hire.
- Schedule: Must be willing to work weekends.
- Location: North Hills, CA.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage daily restaurant operations for a high-volume fast food store with indoor dining and drive-thru service.
- Lead hiring, training, coaching, scheduling, performance management, and employee development.
- Control labor, food, supply, inventory, cash handling, and operational costs.
- Maintain food safety, labor compliance, customer service standards, and overall restaurant performance.

- Management-level experience in fast food, quick service restaurant, or restaurant operations.
- Experience leading a large team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong communication, negotiation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to recruit, interview, train, motivate, and hold team members accountable.
- Professional, assertive, and thick-skinned leadership style with strong judgment.
- Ability to manage POS updates, labor tracking, inventory, reporting, cash controls, and operational paperwork.
- Knowledge of food safety, employee documentation, safety meetings, labor compliance, and restaurant standards.
- Ability to communicate in English by speaking, reading, and writing.
- Strong attendance, professional appearance, teamwork, and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
- Experience with an established fast food chain is strongly preferred.
- Drive-thru management experience is a plus.
- Experience managing high-volume restaurant sales of $2 million or more is preferred.
