Hillcrest Hospital South, a full-service 180-bed facility located in south Tulsa, offers a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services utilizing cutting-edge technology in a welcoming community environment. As the only DNV Orthopedic Center of Excellence (OCE) in Oklahoma, Hillcrest South stands out for its exceptional orthopedic care. The hospital's RN residency program is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Practice Transition Accreditation Program and Pathway to Excellence, ensuring high-quality training for nurses.

The Hospital Security Lead provides frontline leadership and operational oversight for daily security functions to ensure a safe, secure, and compliant environment for patients, visitors, staff, and property.
This position supports regulatory compliance with Joint Commission standards and NFPA 99 requirements related to security management, life safety, and incident reporting.
The Security Lead serves as the shift lead, primary point of contact during assigned shifts, and assists with training, performance monitoring, and incident management.

Job Requirements:

HighSchoolDiploma or equivalent
ValidCLEET Armed SecurityOfficer
ValidDriver'sLicense
IAHSSBasic level (within 6 months of hire)
BLS (within 60 days of hire)
CPI (within 90 days of hire)
Maintain annual firearm and handcuffing certification
OC gel spray certification

Preferred Job Requirements:

1 year of security experience
Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with patients,visitors, staff, contractors, governmental agencies,and vendors.
Ability to confront adverse and potential hostile situations and resolve tactfully and safely.
Skill and ability to make quick decisions and apply safetyandsecurity knowledge in emergency situations.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
