Surgical Technician

Surgical TechnicianWe are seeking an experienced Surgical Technician to join our team at a fast-paced Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC). The Surgical Technician will assist surgeons, nurses, and other operating room staff in delivering safe, high-quality surgical care. The ideal candidate has strong sterile technique, excellent teamwork skills, and prior experience in an outpatient surgical environment.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and maintain the sterile field for surgical proceduresSet up operating rooms with appropriate surgical instruments, supplies, and equipmentAssist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and anticipating needsEnsure proper handling, counting, and documentation of surgical instruments and suppliesMaintain strict sterile technique and infection control standardsAssist with room turnover between cases to ensure efficient workflowMonitor and maintain surgical instruments and equipmentCollaborate with nursing and surgical staff to ensure patient safety and quality outcomesQualifications:Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology programCertified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred2+ years of surgical technician experience, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center or operating roomKnowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterile techniquesStrong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and teamwork skillsCurrent BLS certification requiredBenefits (if applicable):Competitive salaryHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysRetirement plan (401k)Supportive team environmentNo nights, weekends, or major holidays (typical ASC schedule)Interested candidates should submit their resume and cover letter to: View email address on click.appcast.io Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
