Opportunity Highlights Schedule: Clinic Monday-Friday 8am to 4:30pm with possible half day off during the week (Monday-Thursday and hospital call). 4 weeks per month commitment required. Weekend on-call. Job Setting: Clinic with hospital on-call weekend and some weekday evenings (call is very light) Types of Cases: Primarily medical oncology and hematology patients. 40% Hematology/60% Medical Oncology. Consults, follow-ups, possible bone marrow procedures. No Acute Leukemia or Malignant Hematology. Hospitalist admits new patients. Average patient census per clinic shift 15-23, patient encounters per shift 18-25. Night call patient census 1-2. Phone calls and sometimes need to round. Credentialing: 90 days. Emergency privileges offered for open dates within 60 days.
