Job Description
MAJOR FUNCTION
Performs the manual technical tasks involved with the proper storage, distribution, packaging and labeling of drugs, obtaining patient's clinical and prescription plan coverage information, review of new and/or refill prescription, associated record keeping and patient charging systems. Works under the direct supervision and control of a Registered Pharmacist. Follows proper procedures for the operation of equipment and use of supplies.QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience High School diploma or equivalent required. Retail Pharmacy technician experience preferred. Certification/Licensure Valid NJ Driver's license required. NJ Division of Consumer Affairs Pharmacy Technician Licensure required within 6 months of employment in this position. National Certifications for Pharmacy Technicians CPHT from the following agencies: PTCB, NHA, ASHP/ACPE preferred. NJ Division of Consumer Affairs Certified Immunization Pharmacy Technician preferred Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds. #J-18808-Ljbffr Inspira Health NetworkVacancy posted 2 days ago
