This includes many aspects of the production of Waste/Vent Designs, Water Piping, Isometrics, Gas Schematics, Fire Sprinklers, and Site Plumbing in AutoCAD. Plumbing Designers and Engineers collaborate and partner across all disciplines to ensure the highest level of cross-disciplined design integration for a one stop shop solution to our partners residential design needs.Essential Functions Of The JobJob duties will be to produce Waste/Vent Design, Water Piping, Isometrics, Gas Schematic, Fire Sprinklers, and Site Plumbing in AutoCADPlumbing Engineering and Design of single- and multi-family, low- and high-rise residential design plansGenerate detailed Plumbing Design drawings in AutoCAD for construction documentation of design plans for bidding and constructionPrepare Construction Documents in AutoCADWork with design staff and drafters to complete projectCompetenciesAutoCADMS ExcelThe ability to read blueprintsCompute dimensions from architectural plansDetail orientedAbility to work well with other engineers/designersStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.Code Knowledge Strong knowledge and understanding of the NSPC (National Standard Plumbing Code)ICC International CodesUniform building codesDrive deadlines in dynamic and fast-moving environments.Team players with exceptional interpersonal skills at all organizational levels.Self-directed, with good initiative and a great multi-taskerStrong computer skills (i.e. Microsoft word, Excel, etc…)Education, Experience, And QualificationsBS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent comparative experience.Preferred 3+ years' experience in Plumbing Design for residential building systems, code compliance, and construction.Plumbing Design experience with production of Waste/Vent Design, Water Piping, Isometrics, Gas Schematic, Fire Sprinklers, and Site Plumbing.Plumbing Design experience with mid-rise multifamily buildings, mixed use buildings, residential and enclosed parking garages.Work ScheduleMonday – Friday day shift, however additional hours, including weekend hours, may be required in accordance with changing business needs.Benefits401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offReferral programVision insurance
