Automation & Robotic Welding Service TechnicianLinde Gas & Equipment Inc.Grand Rapids, MI, or Tonawanda, NY, United StatesWhat you will enjoy doing:Install, configure, and provide training on robotic, collaborative robot, and automation equipmentPerform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure robotic systems operate at peak performanceTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and software issues in robotic systemsDeliver technical support and training to clients on operation and upkeep of robotic equipmentCollaborate with engineering and technical teams to resolve complex challenges and enhance system performanceMaintain accurate service records including maintenance logs and repair documentationUphold safety standards and protocols throughout all service activitiesAssist in developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtimeWhat makes you great:Hold an associate's degree or higher in Welding, Robotics, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplineProven experience servicing and maintaining automated systems and robotics equipmentStrong technical knowledge of robotics, automation, and control systems including programming on platforms such as Fanuc, Panasonic, and Universal RobotsAptitude in welding processes including Gas Metal Arc Welding, Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, and Plasma CuttingExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities with ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagramsEffective communication and interpersonal skills to work independently and collaborativelyWillingness to travel to client sites as requiredFamiliarity with Programmable Logic Controllers and Human-Machine Interface systems, combined with strong mechanical and electrical aptitudeAbility to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a dynamic environmentWhy you will love working with us:Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2025 sales of $34 billion.
