This role focuses on building and enhancing Return on Equity (ROE) calculations in support of the Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) team. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, brings strong finance domain knowledge, and is adept at translating complex business needs into actionable solutions for technology teams.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the rapid build-out and enhancement of Finance ROE calculations for the FTP teamTranslate evolving business requirements into clear, structured guidance for technology teamsPartner with Finance, Treasury, and Capital Markets stakeholders to define and prototype FTP and Finance ROE-related requirementsSupport implementation by working closely with developers to ensure accurate execution of financial logicPerform thorough testing, validation, and reconciliation of outputs to ensure accuracy and alignment with business intentDocument business processes and testing results to maintain clarity and traceabilityConduct data analysis and evaluate results for alignment with business objectivesIdentify issues and work closely with teams to resolve discrepancies in a timely mannerRequired Qualifications2-8 years of experienceExperience with Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) or Finance Return on Equity (ROE) modelingProven ability to translate complex business requirements into structured guidance for technology teamsExperience partnering with stakeholders across Finance, Treasury, and Capital MarketsStrong testing, validation, and reconciliation skills with exceptional attention to detailAdvanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and analyze large, complex datasetsDemonstrated experience analyzing outputs from technology applications to ensure business alignmentAbility to onboard and contribute quickly in a fast-paced, hybrid work environmentPreferred QualificationsBackground in Treasury, Capital Markets, or Finance analytics within a financial institution or GSEFamiliarity with fixed income, mortgage-related financial instruments, or balance sheet analyticsUnderstanding of financial performance metrics including ROE, NIM, or funding cost allocationExperience with data analysis tools beyond Excel (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Python)About RiskSpanRiskSpan is a leading financial analytics and technology consulting firm specializing in mortgage, structured finance, and data-driven solutions.
