Critical Care/ICU Nurse Practitioner

Level III Trauma Center shifts/month Adult ICU Schedule Nights only: 7p 7a, Monday Sunday Commit to shifts/month Coverage needed: Aug 1 9, Aug , Aug Additional Sept Dec dates forthcoming About the Role Join a Level III trauma center providing high acuity care in an 18 bed open ICU . You ll work alongside in house anesthesia (24/7) and have support from tele ICU physicians overnight . This role is ideal for an NP with strong critical care experience who is confident managing adult ICU patients independently. Key Responsibilities Manage ICU patients and complete admissions Perform procedures: central lines, intubations , and other critical care interventions Serve as a consultant within the open ICU model Average patient census: 8 adult patients Requirements Board certified NP (ANCC or AANP) DEA , ACLS , and BLS required Minimum 1 year of critical care medicine experience Must be able to perform required procedures (central lines, intubations) Maryland license not required upfront candidates willing to obtain it are welcome
