The Occupational Therapy Assistant works in facilities alongside the Director of Rehab to help patients regain independence through tailored therapy programs. Responsibilities Implement occupational therapy programs and activities tailored to individual patient needs. Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments under supervision. Assess patient progress, modify therapy goals as needed, and maintain detailed documentation. Collaborate with peers and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care. Provide compassionate, patient‑centered support to patients and their families. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program meeting AOTA & ACOTE standards. Obtain initial certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Hold or be eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
