Overview MAAG Pump Systems, Automatik Plastics Machinery, Maag Gala Industries, Reduction Engineering Scheer, Ettlinger, AMN, Witte and Sikora are global partners for the polymer industry. We manufacture gear pumps, pelletizing and filtration systems, and pulverizers for polymer, chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and food industries. Responsibilities Controls machines and processes using direct physical activity to operate machines or processes. Handles and moves objects using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning and moving materials. Inspects equipment, structures or materials to identify causes of problems or defects. Performs physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials. Lifts raw materials manually or using a hoist. Measurement and mathematical fraction/decimal conversion skills. Distinguishes material types including aluminum, steel and stainless steel. Uses computers to program and set up functions, enter data or process information. Reads blueprints. Operates a forklift. Tests, measures and adjusts machines when needed. Provides a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task. Can multitask. Keeps work area clean and organized. Is reliable. Uses grinding tools. Follows all safety rules and quality standards. Follows all company rules and policies. Work Environment Work in this position occurs in an office and a factory floor environment, locally or at a customer site. While performing duties, employees may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibration and loud noise. Personal protective equipment may be required. Physical Requirements Regularly required to talk or hear. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl and climb. Must lift items up to 50 pounds. Must use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Job Specifications Mandatory Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent education (additional technical skills a plus). Technical training in reading blueprints. Experience operating a forklift. Interpersonal Skills and Behavioral Competencies Willingness to learn. Verbal and written communication skills. Highly organized and efficient in approaching tasks. Independent self‑starter with ability to problem‑solve and anticipate and avoid issues. Strong team player, work ethic and commitment to win. Customer‑focused.
