Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a small animal hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team, offering flexible full-time or part-time opportunities working with dogs and cats.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care, including wellness exams, preventive medicine, diagnostics, and treatment of a wide range of conditions. Responsibilities include performing routine and advanced surgical procedures such as spays and neuters, delivering dental care, and managing cases involving dermatology, ophthalmology, and general medicine. The role also involves handling emergency cases during operating hours, developing treatment plans, and communicating clearly with clients to ensure the best outcomes for their pets. You will collaborate with a supportive clinical team and have access to internal specialty consultation to enhance case management. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
This AAHA-accredited hospital provides both general practice and emergency services, maintaining a strong reputation within the community. The practice is equipped to support a wide range of services including surgery and anesthesia, dentistry, diagnostic imaging, laboratory testing, and an in-house pharmacy. Additional services include wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite prevention, dermatology, ophthalmology, nutritional counseling, reproduction, OFA/PennHIP certifications, and end-of-life care. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. Team
The team consists of 11 DVMs and a great tenured support team, creating a highly collaborative and supportive working environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
