Lead Cashier

The Lead Cashier guides the work of others, providing daily supervision to the cashier team while maintaining professional interfaces with customers, management, and co-workers. In addition to supervisory duties, this role requires hands‑on involvement in daily store upkeep, floor maintenance, and stocking tasks. Responsibilities Services customers in a courteous and helpful manner. Performs daily supervision, leadership, and guidance of Cashiers. Stocks shelves, ensuring all retail shelves are completely filled. Cleans and maintains counter tops, fronts of counters, windows, doors, and tops of shelves. Sweeps all tile floors outside of doors and walkways, and removes all trash from the parking lot and stockroom. Mops all tile floors, cleans restrooms, restocks all paper products, and empties/replaces all trashcans. Performs other job‑related duties as required. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous cash handling and customer service experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to maintain a professional status and working relationship with customers, management, and co‑workers. Must be comfortable working primarily in indoor climate conditions.
