Cath Lab Technologist

Interventional Radiology Tech
Title: 1st Timer / IR Tech
Shift: Days 07:4516:15 (40 hrs/week, MF)
Alternate schedule: 36 hrs/week available as four 9-hour days
Call: 12 nights/week
Weekend: every 3rd4th weekend
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience required
- Cardiac cath experience preferred
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Trauma Level II experience preferred
- Required: ACLS, BLS, ARRT (R)
- Clinical focus: IR / Vascular / EP; cardiac cath experience preferred
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Scrub and/or room circulator duties
- Maintain sterile field
- Perform representative procedures such as left/right heart catheterization, diagnostic/interventional cardiac catheterization, pacemaker insertion, and others related to interventional radiology and vascular care
- Recognize and manage dysrhythmias
Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation: 40 hours
- Strict compliance deadline: Tuesday prior to start (no exceptions)
- References: 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be a manager/director or formal supervisor
