Geotechnical Engineer II We currently seek a high-caliber Geotechnical Engineer II for a direct hire basis within our Client’s team of experienced professionals. Job Duties:Perform geotechnical analysis and studies to assess mitigation options for geohazards (e.g., seismic analysis, karst evaluation).Plan and conduct geotechnical explorations.Design foundations, retaining walls, horizontal directional drills, and slope stability using appropriate calculations.Assist in proposal development and cost/schedule estimation for investigations.Provide direction to technical teams during field inspections.Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure timely project completion.Support Program Manager in design and evaluation of construction documents.Develop design drawings and specifications for construction projects.Review and approve geotechnical designs from external consultants.Evaluate construction design proposals for geotechnical compliance.Assess team performance and identify training needs to meet objectives.Education & Experience:BS in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.3–7 years of relevant experience required.FE certification required; PE license highly preferred.Strong understanding of industry codes and standards.Skills & Competencies:Excellent written and verbal communication.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.Effective time management and organizational skills.Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.Experience with engineering, procurement, and construction projects is desirable.High attention to detail and accuracy.Proficiency with relevant software applications.Ability to collaborate across teams and with clients.Why TRS & Our Client?
