Here is some of what you can expect from being a Paramedic with us:
- You will provide both basic and advanced life support, including comprehensive patient assessment, invasive airway management, cardiac monitoring, and administration of medications.
- You will frequently be in a leadership role working with other pre-hospital care providers.
- You will be responsible for verbal communication with the patient, other pre-hospital providers, and hospital personnel, including physician medical directors.
- You will complete extensive written documentation on patient condition and treatment provided, and must understand all applicable legal, moral, and ethical issues surrounding emergency medical service.
- You should be dedicated to continued learning through continuing education and maintenance of required licensures and certifications
- You will respond to all calls requested of you and your partner(s) by the company.
- You will maintain accurate and up to date Narcotic Logs.
Position Requirements
- Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire
- High School Diploma/GED
- Maintains an Insurable driving recorddetails of the Company Driving Privileges Policy.
- Maintains a Criminal background must meet the Company standards
- Current Colorado State Paramedic Certification or License.
- Current ACLS.
- Current National Registry Certification.
- Current CPR.
